We renovated and remodeled the interior of a 160 square meter vintage apartment in Atami. Everything from the kitchen to the Japanese-style room was original.

熱海の豊かな自然と、穏やかな時の流れを見守ってきたヴィンテージマンション。160平米を超える圧倒的なスケールを誇るこの空間が持つ特有の重厚感を尊重しながら、現代の感性で新たな息吹を吹き込んだのが今回のプロジェクトです。私たちが目指したのは、広大な空間の隅々にまで住まう人の美意識が浸透した、唯一無二の「私邸」としての完成度でした。
インテリアデザインからスタイリングまでを一貫して手がけることで、機能性と審美性が高次元で融合。窓外に広がる熱海の景観を借景として取り込み、光の移ろいさえもデザインの一部として構成しました。そこにあるのは、日常を芸術へと昇華させる静かな時間。私たちは、空間に込められた職人技とデザインの力を通じて、心まで解き放たれるような、深い安らぎに満ちたライフスタイルを提案しました。
Atami Serenity Meets Expansive Grandeur: A 160sqm Bespoke Sanctuary for the Senses
This vintage mansion has long stood witness to the lush nature of Atami and the gentle passage of time. Our project breathed new life into this space, honoring the inherent dignity of its vast 160-square-meter layout with a contemporary sensibility. Our vision was to achieve the ultimate “private residence”—a singular sanctuary where the inhabitant’s aesthetic vision permeates every corner of the expansive floor plan.
By seamlessly integrating interior design and styling, we achieved a high-level harmony between functionality and aesthetic beauty. Every element—from the kitchen to the intricate woodwork of the Japanese room—was custom-crafted to perfection. We treated the sweeping views of Atami as a “borrowed landscape,” incorporating even the shifting play of light into the design itself. The result is a quiet atmosphere where daily life is elevated into art. Through the power of craftsmanship and design, we have curated a lifestyle of profound tranquility—a space where the soul is truly set free.
