伝統の継承と、極限まで磨き抜かれた純米大吟醸の「静かなる力強さ」を表現
高知県・濱川商店が醸す新商品「純米大吟醸 濱川」のトータルデザインを手掛けました。
蔵元の揺るぎない信念と、精米歩合25%という極限の造りに相応しく、これまでの意匠を一新。ラベル中央には酒の生命力を象徴するダイナミックな筆致を配し、背景には漆黒のボトルに映える幾何学的かつ色彩豊かなグラフィックを施すことで、伝統の中に潜む革新性を表現しました。パッケージは、マットな質感の黒と高貴さを漂わせる紫の2色を展開。贈答品としての品格を保ちつつ、手に取った瞬間に「特別な体験」が始まる期待感を演出することで、老舗酒蔵の新たな挑戦をデザインでサポートしています。
Expressing the “Silent Strength” of a Junmai Daiginjo, crafted through a fusion of heritage and ultimate refinement.
We undertook the comprehensive design for “Junmai Daiginjo Hamakawa,” a new flagship product from Hamakawa Shoten, a historic brewery in Kochi Prefecture.
To honor the brewer’s unwavering convictions and the extraordinary craftsmanship behind the 25% rice-polishing ratio, the visual identity was completely reimagined. At the heart of the label, a dynamic brushstroke symbolizes the vital energy of the sake. This is juxtaposed with a geometric, vibrantly colored background that stands out against the jet-black bottle, embodying the innovation that lies within tradition.
The packaging is available in two sophisticated variations: a matte-textured black and a regal purple. While maintaining the dignity required for a premium gift, the design aims to evoke a sense of anticipation—the feeling that a “special experience” begins the moment the product is held. Through this project, we have supported the historic brewery’s bold new chapter through the power of strategic design.
